Assessment Evaluation of Websites

Caroline will share how to use rubrics to evaluate webpages on: ease of navigation, presentation, content, appropriateness, and scope.

Bio:
Caroline McCullen taught an award-winning electronic publishing class for three years at Ligon Middle GT Magnet School in Raleigh, NC. Her collaborative web page, MidLink Magazine, has received international recognition including finalist in the 1996 National Information Infrastructure Awards, 2nd place in the International CyberFair, and 1995 "Best of the Net." Her awards include the Walt Disney Teacheriffic Award, and Technology & Learning 1996 National Teacher of the Year. She currently writes the technology column, "The Electronic Thread" for the National Middle School Journal, Middle Ground, and serves on the advisory board of Technology & Learning Magazine. In addition to her teaching responsibilities for the past two years, she has served as an Educator-on-Loan for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. She is currently working as Educational Technologist at SAS Institute's new Educational Technology Division.
