During the Town Meeting there will be a discussion of the need of adventure in our lives. Jerry Christy went in pursuit of a dream, an adventure to Antarctica. He will share things he learned through this experience.

Questions for students to consider before the Town Meeting:

• Why is Antarctica called the continent of superlatives?
• What are some questions you have about the continent of Antarctica?
• What is to be gained from a trip such as this beyond fulfilling a personal dream?
• Are dreams all that important?
• How this kind of learning is relevant in our lives?
