List and describe highlights in your role as a professional educator.

• This was my first year teaching.
• I am still growing as an educator.
• Working with my kids improving their reading over the summer.

• This year we have been searching the net for resources and taking AR reading test as well as, STAR Diagnostic testing for growth.

List some of the things that you are most interested in learning during the next two weeks of this MAST II workshop.

• I am very interested to learn about the various web sites to use for classroom activities and child directed searches for science.
• I am also very much in need of ways to use technology to enhance math skills.

What are two of your goals for yourself as an educator in the future?

• My two goals for the future are incorporating more technology research projects and cross curriculum technology lessons.

Describe something you have done for students during the past year which had an outcome that you were particularly pleased with.

• We developed a teamwork program, by helping each other their knowledge was very much enhanced.
• We did group assignments and research projects that they really enjoyed working on.
• We completed two books for our Open Air Library on the life of Sea Turtles and Rocks and Minerals.

What are some of your hobbies?

• I enjoy reading all types of subject matters. I love tennis and hiking whenever possible.

What is one of your favorite places to travel to and why?

• I love Maui,HI I go every other year and enjoy it as though it was my first time.
