What
are two of your goals for yourself as an educator in the future?

Describe
something you have done for students during the past year which
had an outcome that you were particularly pleased with.
- I taught
a computer class after school and was pleased that I could teach
the kids how to use MSWorks and Powerpoint.
What
are some of your hobbies?
- I
enjoy gardening, reading, cooking, yoga, and walking.
What
is one of your favorite places to travel to and why?
- I
love the beach because it's relaxing and feels like you are in
a little part of heaven.

- I've
been married to Mike since March 2001, St. Patrick's Day. He is
currently pursuing a PhD in Organic Chemistry. He hopes to complete
the program by December 2003.
- I
am one of seven children (6 girls and one boy) and have 5 nieces
and 2 nephews.
- I
moved here from Endwell, NY, where I lived for 24 years.
- I
graduated from Bloomsburg University of PA.
If
you could change one thing about education, what would it be and
why?
- I
wish all teachers could have the opportunity to work with a maximum
of 16 students. After being in a classroom with over 25 students,
I have truly enjoyed having a small class. You have the opportunity
to really know each child and his/her strengths and weaknesses.
Group projects and field trips are so much easier with a smaller
number. I wish they would give teachers a raise, so more good
people would stay in the profession.
