What is one of your favorite places to travel to and why?

  • I love the beach because it's relaxing and feels like you are in a little part of heaven.

  • I've been married to Mike since March 2001, St. Patrick's Day. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Organic Chemistry. He hopes to complete the program by December 2003.
  • I am one of seven children (6 girls and one boy) and have 5 nieces and 2 nephews.
  • I moved here from Endwell, NY, where I lived for 24 years.

If you could change one thing about education, what would it be and why?

  • I wish all teachers could have the opportunity to work with a maximum of 16 students. After being in a classroom with over 25 students, I have truly enjoyed having a small class. You have the opportunity to really know each child and his/her strengths and weaknesses. Group projects and field trips are so much easier with a smaller number. I wish they would give teachers a raise, so more good people would stay in the profession.
