Each
child is responsible for reading at least one chapter book a week and taking
an Accelerated Reader test when book has been reviewed and reported.
It is essential to
our growth and development that we read every night for at least 30 minutes
in order to reach our goal.
We need to read with
our parents, grandparents, siblings and classmates; discuss the content of
the book as you read (plot, setting, theme, characters and purpose).
After completing the
selection, you will need to submit a one page book summary and discuss the
book with MS. Holloway before taking the Accelerated reading test.
After
completing the Accelerated Reader Test and passing with a score of 80% or
above student will receive $5.00 Tiger Bucks.
