• This is my eighth year teaching. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, third grade, reading recovery, AG, and remediation for grades K-8.
  
  
• I have a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. I've taken numerous graduate courses in technology and education.
  
  
• I am a Reading Specialist and taught Reading Recovery for three years.
  
  
• I am a writer and have had nonfiction articles and poetry published. My short stories have won awards.
