Welcome to the Magellan Charter School.

 

 

During the school year we will cover a variety of subjects within the scope of science. These will include the study of animals, electricity, simple machines and rocks and minerals as is covered in the NCSCS.

  • You will be responsible for some supplies:
  • pencils
  • notebook paper
  • notebook (1 1/2 inch)
  • plastic inserts
  • colored pencils
  • disc (4)
  • disc holder
  • pencil box
  • glue
  • scissors
  • ruler

 
  One of the exciting, hands-on projects that will be part of our school year is the owl pellet project.  

 

Field trips are an important part of our instruction at MCS. Our philosophy is one that there is application to what is being taught in the classroom.

Trips to Home Depot or Atlantic Beach are not uncommon during the school year.
