| Mel was born on the 3rd of January1956 in Peekskill, New
York. Mel Gibson is an actor, director and producer. He choose to study
drama at NIDA, Sydney. His selected achievements are that he has
made more than 30 films such as: 1984, Mrs Soffel; 1985, Mad Max Beyond
Thunderdome; 1987, Leathal Weapon 1; 1989, Leathal Weapon 2; 1990, Hamlet;

His awards are AFI award for " Best Actor" for the movie Tim, 1979. Another AFI award for " Best Actor " for the movie Gallipoli, 1981. He got a fantastic Actor of the Year award in Las Vegas south west convention in 1996. In that same year he won Golden Globe award for " Best Director " for BraveHeart.
