SIR  DONALD  BRADMAN

Accomplishments: Highest Average in test cricket. 
Sir Donald Bradman is known to the world to be the best cricket player ever. He made  up to 29 test hundreds and played 52 test maches  in his career of playing the sport. He played for the Australian team between 1928 and 1948 but the second world war broke out and interrupted his career when he was at his best. 

With a batting averadge of 99.94 and a run total of 6,996 runs Sir Donald Bradman was the best. Later on in his career he had an average of 110.19 runs. He had made 117 centuries and he was even better than he was before. At one stage he was the captain of the South Australia shield team. 

Donald George Bradman was born at Cootamundra in New South Wales on the 27th of  August ,1908. He was the fifth in his family to be born. Donald and his family moved to Bowral in 1911. He used a stump to hit a golf ball and he practised and practised until he was perfect. 

We should remember  Sir Donald Bradman for his great courage and for his great skill and he showed us anything is possible if you try.
