I have been using technology in my classroom as many tools. We have used ClarisWorks in all aspects from spreadsheet and database to word processing. We have also used technology as a research tool for various projects in the classroom.

I would like to learn how to develop and maintain a web site. I have taken MAST I and would like a refresher course on how to use the probeware more efficiently in my Science class.

As an educator, I would like to continue my education in a graduate program. I would also like to become more hands-on and work station oriented within my classroom.

Differentiating the lessons for the students was an added plus for me. I adapted the lessons not only for the AIG but also for the EC students. I observed both sets of students achieve in ways I didn't think they would.

I have two birds that I consider to be my "children". Sam is my oldest. He is a Quaker parrot that has the ability to talk. Hummer is the youngest and is a peach faced Love bird. Hummer received his name because he is like a Humming bird. He doesn't stay in one place for any amount of time.

I have two places that I enjoy traveling to: the Bahamas and Maine. The islands of the Bahamas are a great place to go and relax. Traveling to Maine is like revisiting the Colonial times when everyone worked hard and lived off the land, nothing is ever wasted.

What am I doing this summer? I will be traveling to Europe, which is one of my greatest dreams. My new husband and I will be traveling to his homeland, the Netherlands. We also will be traveling to Germany and Luxembourg. While in Europe, I hope to see lots of flowers and meet interesting people.

What is something I would like to accomplish before next summer? I would like to have our school's web site up and running.
