I have a Masters Degree in Education that I received form Southern Connecticut State University in 2000. I received an "A+" award from my county for customer focus because of my involvement in "Saterday Achadamy" which was a remediation program for students.
I am a part of the TIES team in my school, which uses technology in science through the TIES grant. My class did a slide show presentation on the weather using Kidspixs. We worked on this project all year. A number of my students knew how to create the slideshow which made things easier.
| I hope to refine my ability in using technology in the classroom and learning how to create web pages and presentations using a variety of software. |

My classroom has five IMacs connected to the Internet, a scanner, printer, TV(which can be connected to the computer), VCR, digital camera, and a digital video camera.
I hope to continue to integrate technology more and more into my lessons and facilitate students exploration of various topics so as to increase their interest and understanding.
I was very pleased with the outcome of our TIES project. The students worked cooperatively the enter year seeing the project to its' completion.
| I enjoy a variety of hobbies such as bird watching, hiking, gardening, and bowling. |

I enjoy going down to the beach when I can, it is a very peaceful place where I can get away for awhile.
The thing I enjoy most about teaching is creating lessons that will peek my students interest and entice them to explore.
The most important thing I can do as a teacher is to get to know my students and build a report with them.
