| Shirley Corcoran is an Educator-On-Loan from Cabarrus County working with Teachers Connect. For the past four years she has worked as a Technology Specialist at Mt. Pleasant High School, prior to that she was a high school science teacher for twenty-one years in Charlotte-Mecklenburg and Rowan counties. Shirley worked with the North Carolina Teacher Academy for three years as a technology trainer. In the summer of 1999, she received her MA via an online program from Pepperdine University in Educational Technology. |

| Glenn A. Gurley, Jr. has been an educator for twenty-four years, many of those years have been spent using technology in his classroom. During recent years Glenn has served as an Instructional Technology Specialist for the Gaston County Schools. He as been a technology trainer for the North Carolina Teacher Academy since 1995. He is presently working with a team of educators who are developing the content for a second technology module which will start the summer of 2000. In June 1997, Glenn was selected as a Pioneer Mentor. In this position he presents sessions on integrating technology in the classroom at state, regional, and national conferences. This spring Glenn is teaching the first Connectivities Online Course: Desktop Videoconferences. |

| Carrie H. Kirby holds an EDS from ASU in Media and Technology. She has taught elementary, middle, and high school and most recently served as Instructional Technology Facilitator for Transylvania County, where she has taught for twenty-five years. Carrie has been a technology trainer for the North Carolina Teacher Academy since its inception and is on the team that is developing a second level of training. A frequent presenter at technology conferences across the state, Carrie specializes in professional development. She is currently an Educator-on-Loan for the NC Department of Public Instruction. She is working in a Teachers Connect/LEARN NC partnership to develop online resources for educators. |
